La función de impacto permite taladrar materiales pétreos. Alto par incluso en segunda marcha gracias a las revoluciones ligeramente reducidas.

Para atornillar, la máquina dispone de un control de par de 21 posiciones, los valores se pueden ajustar entre 1,0-5,0 Nm. El sistema XPT de Makita protege eficazmente la máquina contra el polvo y el agua. El potente LED doble ilumina eficazmente el lugar de trabajo. El portabrocas de cierre rápido totalmente metálico soporta un uso intensivo.

Hay disponible un asa lateral como accesorio, por lo que también es adecuada como barrena para hielo.
